Vitality

 photo _DSC7116_zps97906ac4.jpg

More than anything else these past few months, I have wanted to enjoy my life and take time to feel gratitude for all that I have. While I have spent so much time focusing on all that I  want to have, see, and experience, I will never be able to appreciate those blessings to come in the future if I am unable to appreciate all that which I am already blessed with. I refuse to worry about that which I want, because I am confident it will find me.

Contrary to what many believe, life is not a fight for survival; it is a personal journey of growth and exploration. When we are more focused on the nourishment of our own being, we are able to grow stronger and wiser, and as a result our lives will become more fulfilling. To focus on our survival is to live in a world of hopelessness and dead ends. We begin to view any area of our life which is lacking vitality as something that will prevent us from happiness and hence we become unable to appreciate life and therefore unable to grow.  If life is a fight for survival, our survival is dependent upon our ability to evolve, accept change, and the kindness to which we show ourselves. Be content with and accept whatever your current situation is and grow from it. Your path will take you to where it is you want to be if you simply follow it.

"That which does not kill us makes us stronger"
- Friedrich Nietzsche
